You can read this as most boring, most frustrating, most (fill in the negative adjective). List a few and why you didn't like them.

The first thing that jumps out is a game called Cyberdillo for the 3DO. I'll be honest, I didn't play it for very long and I mainly did it to record a Youtube video. You can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-gtRiso_Y (I have some other videos on there too, but the only one that's in the running for worst game ever would be Dragonheart)

I think that might be the first game that truly gave me a headache to play. It had a few neat ideas, but overall it's just a mess at this point. I know it's roughly 20 years old and I'm sure it hasn't aged well, but man, what were they thinking!?!

The next one that comes to mind is Rogue Warrior. Now I knew going into this one that it was supposed to be pretty bad, but hey, I like shooters and Mickey Rourke, so it can't be THAT bad, right? Well, I don't really know since the game is riddled with bugs and I couldn't progress very far at all! I'm just glad it was part of a bundle and I didn't pay money for it alone.

And now I'm reaching deep into my memory, but I remember when I was like 8 or 10 years old I rented a game called Deadly Towers on the NES. I was so pumped for it since I had seen it in Nintendo Power and stuff, but I think that was the first time I had ever been disappointed by a game. It eventually made its way back into my collection by way of an eBay auction lot or something, but I've yet to give it another go. Perhaps one of these days...

I know this one has come up before, but Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight, was so frustrating. For reasons currently unknown to me(I think it was on sale) I bought Castlevania: Judgement. Wow.... what a turd. It was a bad fighting game, an even worse Castlevania game and I only played it about 10 minutes before I could take no more. I want to try again someday and see if there was something there that I was missing.

I thought of another. X-men for NES. OMG there was absolutely NOTHING about thsi game that they got right. Gameplay was terrible, enemies were terrible direction was unclear there powers were all wrong...... It was crap.

What about the original TMNT on NES? I remember that game being a pretty big piece of dung.

The Sniper 2 for the PS2 (it's only available in PAL as far as I know), it's the worst but it's also the best in a weird way. For one, there's a credit roll after you complete EVERY mission, I've never played/seen a video game that did that before. Anyway, it's godawful, but also hilarious. There's a video of it on YouTube that exemplifies what I mean exactly, hopefully it's still up.

jwcooley you hush your mouth, that game is a treasure!

Dragon's Lair on NES was abysmal. More modernly, Thief and Assassin's Creed III made me want to sit on a barbed dildo.

TMNT wasn't THAT bad. I mean it wasn't that GOOD either but I don't know about a worst games list.

So I have moho to thank for a couple to add to my list:

Super Hexagon
Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game

So a game that is not the worst or even bad per say (in fact some people love it) but I absolutely hated was Paper Mario Sticker Star for the 3DS. Man that game sucks lol. And I have given it more than a fair chance...on three separate occasions thinking I'm not giving it enough time. I have. It sucks lol.

@darthbob2000 - First off, Super Hexagon is awesome. I will grant you that Street Fighter: The Movie is a bad game, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. You should definitely play Superman 64 for our "bad games" bounty month in August...

I say you play Superman 64 a few months back and I don't have a copy, or a 64 for that matter so I am afraid that I am out of luck (damn the luck) but I could never get through that first ring level anyway. And if there is a Hell, for me it will very much resemble Super Hexagon. That game is torture. If I had to choose between playing that game for 8 hours straight, or having Chuck Norris kick me in the cherries, I'd HONESTLY have to seriously consider which would be worse.

I can't remember if we discussed this before, but an idea I have for a gaming night is "bring your own bad game night". Everybody would bring a game (or two) and we'd all play each others' games (as well as our own). I think it would be a fun way to play games / genres you wouldn't normally play and would likely provide some new contenders for this thread here :P

There's also the inverse of that where you actually bring a good game and we rotate through 'em...but that doesn't seem quite as adventurous hehe

You're roughly 8 hours away from where I live (using the city on the DGR Facebook page). To put that into perspective....I'm going to Florida in about a month and it takes me roughly 12 hours to get there :P Apparently Ohio is a really long state haha!

@darthbob2000 - Electric seaweed in the water....Wouldn't that make the water electric? Half the enemies in the game aren't even something out of anything remotely TMNT. You guys can argue all day long but man, that game is terrible. Is it the worst game of all time? Probably not, but on the TMNT scale, it's either at the top or pretty darn close.

Super Hexagon isn't bad at all. I suck at it majorly, but it is still a good game.

@moho_00, for some strange reason I like the idea of a terrible game night. Though we might need to break the evening up a little with a good game somewhere in there as a pallet cleanser.

@jwcooley, first off, what about electric eels? They exist in the real world, so why not electric seaweed ? Actually I always liked the underwater phase of the game. Second I am not trying to argue that this is a good game. It isn't. You are right that it has like three enemies in it that are TMNT themed at all. It does have some redeeming qualities. I like the fact that it has the outside map where you can roll around to different places in the van. I like that each turtle plays differently and has different strengths and weaknesses. The real problems with the game are that it is stupid hard, and that the part where it is sidescrolling platformer mode(like 92% of the game) are not very well done.

@ the entire community Super Hexagon is :-P

Landmark - it was a big name (sony) with big marketing, big promises, and then a big fail.

Barbie (1991) on the NES - Barbie is tall and her movements are very stiff. I remember the game consisting mostly of walking and jumping. The level design is abysmally stupid. In one, the main goal is to avoid being hit by floating clothes at the mall.

Dragonlance: Heroes of the Lance for the NES. I suckered myself into picking up that game because I like D&D and was a fan of Dragonlance in Middle School. Man, that game was bad. It had enemies that were literally impossible to hit.
