I've been needing a good reason to restart this game and see it all the way through this time.

I played this one briefly a long time ago, so I'm looking forward to getting back to it!

Is this game difficult? I'm not exactly the best at tower defense style games, but this one looks cool

From what I've played, it's sort of tower defense, but you can still attack things yourself. It reminds me a lot of the Deception games so far...but I've played like 20 minutes :P

If I can manage to get through Kain before this bounty ends, I'll give it a shot!

Done.
Took me slightly over 8 hours on hard (as the weaker brother) so it was quite long. I presume on normal it would be even shorter.
I directly went for hard even though I never played it before and at first I regreted as I had hard time often and felt a bit frustrated but later I got hang of it and started to like the game more and more.
My problem was that I was too stingy with money and then had to deal with waves with inferior equipement and too few traps.
But also because the combat felt quite unresponsive (there is slight delay between pressing button and action happenning) and took some time before I got used to it. Also the game was sometimes laggy for no apparent reason and made me die because of it several times.
But once I learnt how to play the game, I enjoyed it quite a lot and would recommend trying it out.

I tried out the first chapter last night. Seems like it could be fun but it was mostly a tutorial type chapter....so I'm not sure what I actually think just yet.

It seemed good enough for me to want to continue on with at some point, though.

I'm of the same mind set on the money issue in the game but understand that it is a trade off of more traps vs better equipment and bullets.

I'm on Chapter 12. The map just gets bigger and I feel like I can't get everywhere fast enough!

I finally finished this! I am interested to see what they do with the next Tome.

I loved it. It gets a little overwhelming as the map gets bigger, but still loads of fun.

The map was definitely a big issue.

Once you got the axe that had both Holy and Iron properties, it seemed to get a little easier too. I know I probably did way more melee in the game than what was probably intended.
