Growing up in the late '80s / early '90s, my prime Disney movie watching years included the releases for classics like The Lion King, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast. I played a little bit of The Lion King many years ago, but it's been on my list to play through ever since I picked up the Genesis version a while back. It's actually supposed to be a fairly challenging (and good) game.

To enter this giveaway, all you need to do is post what your favorite animated Disney movies are! You'll need to post by 11:59:59 PM EST on 6/18/17 to be eligible for the giveaway.

Oh man! I miss this game. I'm getting flashbacks of the stampede level lol.

If I were to pick one favorite, it'd probably have to be Mulan. Besides that, I used to watch The Sword in the Stone, Aladdin, and The Lion King a lot. Oddly enough, I haven't been up to speed on a lot of the more recent films -- still haven't seen Frozen.

Wreck-It Ralph is the best Disney movie, of course.

Mulan is pretty good. Lilo and Stitch was great too. Big Hero Six was epic. Somebody already mentioned Wreck It Ralph, which is a timeless classic. I also liked Maui and The Girl, which was the name of the film and I defy anyone to contradict me.

Edit: Let us not forget the greatness of Toy Story.

Aristocats and Monsters, Inc. Aristocats mostly because it was one of very few movies we had on VHS growing up.

The Jungle Book. First film I ever saw at the cinema and I bet those songs still hold up against some of the modern ones.

Never ever can narrow anything down to just one. Four is my limit. So my favorite selections are: The Rescuers: Down Under, The Lion King, Tarzan and Brother Bear. The last two were a double bonus, with the Phil Collins songs in the soundtrack.

The Great Mouse Detective. One of the best Sherlock Holmes adaptations ever. :D Often unsettling, always exciting, I got more invested in the characters and story than any of its contemporaries.

There are so many good movies, but since i feel most people would go for the older classics i kinda feel like pointing out a more recent one: i really loved Wall-e. I don't know if part of it was because i wasn't expecting much from it but they we're able to tell a very good story with little words (at least in the beginning) and it almost moved me to tears. Being able to tell such a story through motion (and with such a great soundtrack) is something that requires a real talent.

When I was REALLY little I liked Mickey and the Beanstalk. When I was a little older Toy Story was my favorite. Now that I have kids I see some of the new stuff and I have to say if you haven;t seen Moana or Big Hero 6, they are actually worth watching. I remember that Lion King game. It was ridiculously difficult as I recall. But then again most mid 80's to mid 90's platformer style games were that way.

At first I thought it will be difficult but then I went to look over list of Disney movies and discovered they produced The Nightmare Before CHristmas.
That's in my top 10 of movies all-time if not top 5 so it is no-brainer.
I love that movie. Great animation, catchy songs, awesome atmosphere and it's funny.

Probably the Lion King, oddly enough.

Oh man, I love everything Disney! It's so hard to choose just one or even two. But if I had to, it's a tie between Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.
