I know we have some horror fans here, so let's do some giveaways! This one is for Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition and it will be provided as a Steam key. Oh, the '90s! It might be cleaned up a bit, but this game is totally '90s. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

So in the '90s spirit, let's hear some of the horror games you'd like to see make a return in a remastered format. You have until 11:59:59PM EST 10/15/17 to enter. I'll randomly select a winner from those that respond here.

Oh boy, did I love horror games in the '90s!

Let's see, of the games I got to play when I was in grade school these are the ones I'd love to see brought back into the light of day for young'uns nowadays to enjoy:

  • Clock Tower (SNES)
  • House of the Dead (There aren't as many arcades these days but I would kill to play a remade cab for this!)
  • Resident Evil 2 (I believe there are plans to remake this similar to the 2002 remake of RE1, crossing my fingers this is still happening)
  • Parasite Eve (I loved this sci-fi horror series as a kid. The 3rd Birthday didn't grab me but maybe they can reboot this)
  • Galerians (Not sure if anyone remembers this one, but the story hooked me right away.)

Never been a huge horror game fan, but I'd take a modern Silent Hill. Or more Parasite Eve.

Phantasmagoria! I'd love it to have it in a resolution for modern computers. Even a Phantasmagoria 3 would be amazing. FMV games seem to be having a comeback recently, so maybe it'll happen!

I would have to go with the same answer as merph. Although i would love a remake of Parasite Eve 2.

Love 90's FMV horror. I would love to see a remaster (or at least an accessible form of) Are You Afraid of the Dark? The Tale of Orpheo's Curse

I'd have to go with Zombies Ate My Neighbors. One of my favorite zombie games of all time.

The Thing!

That game was so rushed and shoddily programmed I would love to see someone do it proper justice with a re-release + bug fixes.

I think Siren is deserving of a re-make in my opinion.

@bezbot - Siren/Forbidden Siren actually got a re-release on the PS4 with trophy support and all that jazz. :)

Now Siren 2 on the other hand... Still waiting.

I've never been a huge horror game fan, with the notable exception of Telltale's The Walking Dead, which is still too new for a remastered version.

So, why not name the first game that was technically horror that I ever played? 13 Ghosts for the TRS-80 family of computers.

A remastered Eternal Darkness would be awesome. Also, maybe an update for Blood Omen/Legacy of Kain.

Haha, oh boy. Let the cheesefest begin! I think I might schedule this in for Halloween after the trick or treaters die down.

Thanks moho_00!
