Description

List of games I've beat in 2017. You'll see a lot of casual games (hidden object games mostly) because I play them with my kids. I don't get a whole lot of time to play more grown-up games now.

Super Mario Kart

I did this as a bounty and had a great time playing it. Rainbow Road was as fun as I remember.

My favorite track is the first Ghost House track. That long jump shortcut is exciting every time I attempt it.

bit Dungeon II

This was fun but I got a little tired of it in the end. After the 4th time getting to the final boss and dying, having to start the whole game over again, I was glad I got her on the 5th attempt.

I'd recommend it as a quick play but beating the game once is enough.

9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek

This one was a different Hidden Object game because it had a detective mode. A short, fun game.

4

Demon Hunter: Chronicles from Beyond

This one was cool because it had a psuedo battle system.

5

Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood

I really liked the story in this one. The reveal at the end was a great way to tie the first game to this one.

6

Left in the Dark: No One on Board

I didn't really like this one. The puzzles were illogical and the story was boring.

7

Dark Arcana: The Carnival

The story in this one was interesting with the other word but it was a little creepy.

Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden

My least favorite Hidden Object game I've played. The puzzles made little sense, there was an insane amount of backtracking, and I didn't really care about the characters.

Hand of Fate

I had a blast with this game. The combat wasn't as polished as I would have expected but the combo of a card game plus combat was a lot of fun. Plus taking down the dealer was awesome because he was annoying!

Sorcery! Part 1

Technically, I beat this game but there is so much here to do that I'm still exploring the different options. Lots of replay value and the story changes each time so I feel like I'll be playing this game over and over this year.

Grim Legends 3: The Dark City

I really liked this Hidden Object game. It's one the latest one's they've made so it has all of the quality of life improvements that made it fun to play instead of a back-tracking mess of nonsense puzzles.
