Games finished throughout 2017

The Last of Us

First game I played of the year. This got me back into gaming after being away for quite some time. Absolutely fantastic!

Ratchet & Clank (2002)

Really fun. Wasn't able to defeat the final boss because I didn't have enough bolts to buy the R.Y.N.O and I wasn't going to go through the levels for days trying to collect enough. Just made the mistake of using all my bolts for ammo and not saving it.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror

Would have been a great game had it not been so incredibly difficult to get from one area to another. It made it not as much fun as it would have been. I actually stopped playing one shard away from finishing the game because I couldn't stand it anymore.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Fantastic game with badass female leads. Typical uncharted game; what you would expect. Open world was cool, graphics were beautiful, though some controls were clunky.

SteamWorld Dig 2

Absolutely loved this game. Took me awhile to finish it because I loved exploring everything, but I wish the main story would have been a bit longer. However, there is still a ton left to explore if I ever want to go back.

The music was incredible, the gameplay was fun, the story was cute, and the graphics were awesome! An all around great game!

Super Mario Odyssey

Such a great game! I love all the Mario games but 64 was always my favorite. Now we have Odyssey and it just surpasses my love for the original.

The level design was incredible, I loved collecting everything I could find and uncovering all the secrets, and the difficulty was just right. Anything too unbearably frustrating, I was able to skip. The boss battles were fun and entertaining as well. It's just an overall enjoyable game that I could potentially sink another 10 or more hours into as I try to collect every last moon, but I feel good about how much I have done so far.

The graphics and music were also amazing and I highly enjoyed them!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

My favorite Zelda game so far! This was incredible! The gameplay, the story, the graphics--everything was amazing!

It was so incredibly fun! I think I played it for 100+ hours and still have more to do. The boss battles were a lot fun and I liked the "mini dungeons" more than the larger more complicated ones from past games. These were less frustrating and easier to navigate.

The only thing that bothered me sometimes was the weather system, especially when I was climbing a mountain.
