This is a list of the games that are my favorites on steam.

Alan Wake

Perhaps not the first game you'd expect on somebody's favorites list. However, I found the story in this game to be a very fun one to follow, from what I remember. Gameplay wise it had some interesting ideas, however, it wasn't really it's strong point. It has however been a while since I've played it, so it might be due for a replay, so I can format my thoughts on this a bit more.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

The only Assassin's Creed game I've played. The gameplay of this series has never really caught my interest that much. The settings have, though.
.
This one isn't really an Assassin's Creed game. This is a pirate game with some elements from Assassin's Creed games. Which is also it's biggest flaw, the game is at its strongest when it is a pirate game, and at its weakest when it's an Assassin's Creed game. Especially the parts taking place in modern times are very tedious.

When the game is a pirate game, it is a lot of fun. The gameplay is engaging, the characters are great and the naval battles are fantastic. Great game.

Bastion

It's been a long time since I've played this game, and it's due for a replay in that sense. I do however remember this game having a great story, especially the scene where enemies let you pass without attacking you.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

A very emotional journey that has some neat unique gameplay mechanics. Probably one of the best games I never want to play again.

Brutal Legend

In my opinion this game get's carried by it's unique theme, cool world and famous characters. A very fun hack and slash game in the first half, and after that a pretty tedious RTS.

For all it's flaws, this is still one of my favorite games.

DOOM (2016)

Fantastically fun exhilarating gameplay. Great level designs, fun to use weapons, and very fast movement make this great. The game is also great when it comes to story, since there isn't much. Which is exactly how Doom should be.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition

The first Elder Scroll game I have ever played. Such a cool and massive world to walk around in. Every time I replay this I find new things.

Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition

My favorite game of all time. The definitive fallout. Fantastic story, world and a very good RPG. Highly recommended.

Far Cry 3

Due for a replay.

FTL: Faster Than Light

FTL. Great gameplay, a cool aesthetic and massive replay value. I still start this one up every now and then.

Mass Effect

Due for a replay.

Mass Effect 2

Due for a replay.

Metro 2033

Due for a replay.

Oxenfree

Very atmospheric and short game with a cool aesthetic. Can get quite scary and tense at times.

Saints Row 2

My favorite Saints Row game, with number 4 being a close second. I think the combination of the somewhat normal world with all the incredibly ridiculous things you can do is what makes this so much fun.

Saints Row IV

And the reason why I think this is so great is that everything is completely over the top. Pure mindless fun.

Shadow Warrior (2013)

Very cool classically styled FPS.

Sid Meier's Civilization V

The first civilization game I've ever played. I think these are great.

Transistor

A very pretty and very engaging game.

Valkyria Chronicles

I never expected to like this as much as I did. Completely unexpected game. Great game with unique gameplay and a cool aesthetic.

The Walking Dead

The very first Tell-Tale game I played. These are very interesting games, with how the choices you make affect the game.

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut

Classically styled RPG. It's great how this franchise got the sequel it deserved.
