Dang, Matt, I think that's the first one I played too!! I just remember a game where you ran around a maze as a mouse trying to collect cheese. I could never remember the name of it, but after watching a video, I think that's it!

If that wasn't my first one, I would assume it was Super Mario Bros. on the NES.

Wow, that is funny. We should find a ROM and make it a part of the next Olympics.

  • Atari Pong console
  • My aunt's Atari 2600 (Bowling, Defender, Pitfall, Ms. Pacman, River Raid)
  • Commodore 64 + a giant bin full of games (many were bootleg copies) a family friend copied for us and a handful of legit games. Legit games I played a bunch included Tooth Invaders, Wizard of Wor, Ultimate Wizard, and Attack of the Mutant Camels.
  • Earliest arcade games I remember playing were: Dig Dug, Tiger Heli, and some top-down racing game where you had a handful of stages where you had to beat the clock.

When I was 4 or 5 I can remember playing on our Atari 2600 (I still have it!) and the games I remember the most were Bowling, Adventure and Donkey Kong and Breakout.

Pokemon Yellow. It was great and almost had the pokedex on 100%.
