Description

This is my list of Nintendo Wii U exclusives that I feel deserve a second chance at life by being ported to the successful and more widely accessible home console, the Nintendo Switch.

The list has gotten smaller with each successive year of ports, here's hoping the few left on the list make the cut too!

Xenoblade Chronicles X

I understand that the Switch already has a Xenoblade Chronicles sequel and an expansion to boot. But the fact remains, X was and still is an amazing experience that simply deserves a second chance at life on a more successful system with a game market that is more accessible. I have spent nearly 200 cumulative hours exploring the world of Xenoblade Chronicles X, and nothing would make me happier than to be able to pick up and play this game any place at any time.

Paper Mario: Color Splash

While it may not be the best game in the Paper Mario Series, it is still an adorable and fun game to play. It features a turn-based card combat system that utilizes some of the most wacky attack sequences involving common household items that I have ever seen. Did I mention the stylized colorful HD visuals are what really make this game stand out? As a port, it would serve as a good time-sink for those that missed out on the Wii U as they anxiously hope and await for the next Paper Mario game to come.
