I just love the feature you just added, where you can add any number of lists\collections to your games and use that to filter your collection. Great and appreciate the work done! |

Thanks, glad you like it! I'm hoping I can use it and not have random stacks of games sitting around on my shelves and in Steam categories :P |

First, I love this site. Fantastic job and please keep it up! I do have a suggestion though, which hopefully wouldn't be too hard to implement as an extension to the lists feature: Filter by more than one list at once. I add collection entries to lists based on genres, features, etc... so being able to filter by say:
at the same time would be pretty great if I wanted to browse for a particular "flavour" of game. Could be that I'm not using the lists as they were intended, but I think it's a pretty powerful feature that hopefully will see a lot of use. |

When I first read this, I didn't quite understand what you were asking for, but now I totally get it. I like this idea. Essentially, as an example off of your first bullet, you'd want only the games to show up that are on the lists you choose, that way you know you have a co-op multiplayer FPS. Can you elaborate what you mean by flavor? Is that like genre? Adventure, action, RPG, etc...? |

@dhobo - Welcome aboard and glad to hear you like the site! Being able to filter on multiple lists is something that's been requested and definitely something I plan on adding soon. You might also be interested in the upcoming tagging functionality, so feel free to weigh in on that feature here: http://www.completionator.com/Forum/PostList/77?page=1 |

@moho_00 - That tagging functionality sounds pretty close to what I was thinking of, I'll go add my two cents in that thread. @jwcooley - Yeah, I meant flavour as something like a "What am I in the mood for?" filtering functionality. Could pick a genre, and maybe combine it with other custom tags like in the examples I gave. I was hungry when I posted, so my mind was on food. I'm sure I thought it was really clever at the time, haha. |

As part of tonight's release, I've modified the list filter so it supports multiple lists. Let me know what you think! |

Works great on my limited testing so far. I'm assuming the filter is intentionally using OR comparators rather than AND comparators, right? |

It's somewhat intentional haha. When I had considered adding this feature before, I was torn on if it should be an AND or an OR. It completely slipped my mind when I built it the other night and I just went with an OR since that's how the other filters work. I definitely see the value in it working like an AND (which you described above), but I still like the idea of having the option. I'll switch it to an AND for the next release and try to come up with a clean way to provide both (maybe not in the next release, we'll see). |
