Given the fact that Muddy Heights 2 is a game about literally attacking someone as a piece of poop, you might expect the quality to reflect the player character. This is not the case however and it is a pretty good game.

Good Qualities

I found it to be quite funny at times (as you'd probably expect from a game where you play as poop. The gameplay started out a bit lame when I was just a basic poop but became quite fun when I actually had active powerups which allowed for more movement options and more time. The powerups themselves were pretty good as well and I thought it was clever using food items that affect the poop. I found the human animations to be decent but funny (though I guess that's what should be expected when they all run around after seeing a piece of poop invade their lives).

Qualities that belong in the toilet

Pretty much the only problems were that some of the quests were a bit confusing to figure out what to do to unlock them, with the descriptions being quite vague. The game was also extremely short. I don't mean that the main game was short, it literally took me 34 minutes to unlock everything and complete every quest within the game. The length is excusable though considering that the game is quite cheap.

My verdict

Overall, while I did enjoy it, it's one that I probably wouldn't complete again and would probably just play to mess around in. I would have to recommend this one, the price is quite cheap so even if you don't see it on sale, I would have to say that it's worth a shot. I would suggest giving the first game a try before buying it though since that one is free and will indicate whether it is your type of game or not.
My score: 7/10
Should you play it?: Try the original game first.
