List some of the more difficult or frustrating games that you have played and what made them that way

Battletoads - Because teh flying levels were very hard, which sucks because the combat levels were great. (might be a good co-op game night)
Maximim Carnage - because it had aproximately 847517507452 levels to beat

The first ones that come to mind are Fester's Quest, Street Fighter 2010, and The Adventures of Bayou Billy. I had all of those as a kid and they were tough for me even in my prime!

Dark Souls....Demon's Souls.....NES games were, in general, just difficult.

On Man... Street Fighter 2010. That game was ridiculous. I remember that I put in Game Genie codes to give me infinite lives and make me invincible and still game up before I beat it. I like the vision of teh future that it showed too. This game was released in like 1991, so at some point in the following 20 years, humanity was going to have some incredible technological renisance and invent bionic armour, teleportation, lasers robot, discover aliens etc.etc.etc. it looked more like street fighter 3010.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.
- Unforgiving difficulty
- Infrequent respawn points
- High demand for precision

Current playthrough going well so far, though.
