Could we have a way to indicate desired platform on the wishlist? I know I've got some things listed there that I already own, but it's because I want them in a different format or on a different platform (PC versus console, DRM-Free versus Steam, etc.), and it would be nice to be able to indicate that specifically. |

I actually added this to my task list the other day when I was working on the VGPC integration :) I want to eventually show the estimated price for games on your wishlist, but there needs to be a platform for that to be accurate. I hadn't thought about the digital provider though, so I'll add that while I'm in there! |

I should also mention that I do plan to add a Platform filter to the Wish List page. I just ran out of time tonight :P |

Yay! I just noticed it when I was going through and cleaning up my wish list from things I picked up on GOG's summer sale. I'll be poking at it shortly. :) ETA: Some feedback:

You're talking about the Browse Games page being slow, right? I hope so, because I just modified it to make it quite a bit faster :) I had noticed it was getting a little slow, just kept forgetting to look into it. Hopefully that alleviates your issues. As far as editing multiple wish list items, I thought about that while updating my own 450+ game wish list last night :P I think it's just a matter of having to back-fill all the data since the platform wasn't available before. If you want, I can update all of your wish list entries to a certain platform / digital format so it might help speed you up. Then you could go in and adjust the outliers. As a side-note, I think the platform dropdown when adding a game to your wish list should put the platforms the game is on at the top, just like the one when you add a game to your collection. This was something else I ran out of time on, but it would be handy...

Actually, I mean the game list dropdown on the 'add to wish list' popup on the wish list screen. The list takes quite a while to load. The main Browse Games page is quite fast. :) If you could update mine to just be all Steam, and then I can go back and edit the ones that are actually available DRM-free, that would be awesome! |

D'oh! I kinda forgot about that game dropdown, yeah, it should definitely be an autocomplete thing :P I generally use the Browse Games page to find the game I want to add and use the wish list button there. I'll add it to my list! I just updated all of the games on your wish list that didn't have a platform specified to be PC and Steam. Hope that helps!

I keep forgetting about all the options that the Browse Games page has, so I go right to the wish list. :) Thank you much! |

Now that I've been using the platform option for a month or so, I feel like it should be required. I've forgotten to select it a few times and then I have to find it in the list to edit it. Does anyone here think this should NOT be required? The digital format dropdown would obviously remain optional. |

Personally, I'm not really for it being required. Having more than one gaming platform, it's not always clear-cut for me to decide which specific platform I will be buying a game for, but I'd still want it on my wishlist. My vote would go towards keeping things as is, with the platform being optional. |
