I know we have a sales thread, but I figured this one could use its own :D Everyone should post their haul and highlight any good gems they find!

For the first day, I'm still debating Darkest Dungeon. It looks good, but I'm not the biggest roguelike fan out there. Everyone should definitely buy Valkyria Chronicles, it's a steal for $5! I beat it on PS3 and PC and loved every minute of it.

So far nothing's really appealed to me price-wise. All of the good deals tend to be games I've already bought because they were the same good deal (or a better deal elsewhere) in the past. GoG's sale has been wonderful however!

I will second the recommendation for Valkyria Chronicles. If you like turn-based tactical rpgs, it's fantastic, especially for that price.

So far, all I've gotten was the Shadow Operations Unit DLC for Beat Hazard for $1.40 (which I had from selling Steam Cards).

I'm a sucker for the "Gameplay procedurally generated by your music" games and have 4 of the 6 games on Steam that meet that description.

Day 2 always seems to get me with these steam sales.

Finally fleshed out my LEGO collection with indy 1+2 and the terrible PotC game (just to be completionist about my LEGO game collection.)

Also snagged Child of Light which will be loads of fun!

Oh man, I forgot about that DLC for Beat Hazard, I think I'll pick that up tonight. I'm also a sucker for the music-powered games and Beat Hazard is by far my favorite! Come to think of it, isn't there supposed to be a sequel sometime for that?

I have a love / hate relationship with the LEGO games. They're fun and addictive, but I want to collect everything and there's a lot of stuff to collect :P I know it will never happen, but I'd love to see a PC port of LEGO City Undercover. That might be my favorite one of them all.

Beat Hazard Ultra on ps3/iPhone I think was the sequel.

That's exactly why I love the LEGO games. I love poking in every little corner to get everything there is to find in a game, whether it's an inconsequential cutscene, useless item, or just something amusing/odd.

I haven't heard of a Beat Hazard Ultra sequel. Audiosurf got a sequel though.

According to Steam, there are 6 Procedurally Generated by your music games out there. I have 4. Audiosurf 2 and Soundodger+ I don't have. Beat Hazard Ultra, Audiosurf, Turba and Symphony I do.

Of COURSE they finally put the LEGO games up for sale when I'm waiting for money to come in. >.< Maybe the two Indy games will go on sale again next year.... Maybe GOG will get them. That would be even better. :)

I fully expect to see the LEGO stuff appearing more regularly on sale now that Disney's handling the ip for those classics, I think you'll be fine. :)

I also went ahead and got How To Survive - Storm Warning Edition (ie with most of the DLC) for 99 cents. You can also get the base game alone for 74 cents.

Sounds like you got some good ones in there! I recently played Shelter and thought it was great. I knew very little about it going in, but was pleasantly surprised.

I just made my last purchase of the sale...I think. It consisted of Drox Operative, Din's Curse, Despair, and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. I don't know why I bought MGS V, since in another thread I mentioned I haven't even finished the third one...but oh well, it was $5 and I'll eventually get to it...maybe.

I wish I could've restrained myself to only three purchases, but alas, I could not. I did manage to get quite a few games that I've been wanting to play for a while, so I guess that's good? Now it's just a matter of finding time to play them...

It was less willpower and more not having spare cash right now and spending money I got from selling Steam cards. ;)
