I use a managing and launching client called Launchbox (http://www.launchbox-app.com/ ) and I wonder if you have ever heard of it or entertained making an exportable set-up for this awesome powerful launcher? I'd love to import my entire library to this as I have been slowly adding everything manually for nearly 6 months now (over 1000 games total with install links and the like from Steam, GoG and other sites). Just a thought. |

Hey paladin181, welcome to the site! I've heard of Launchbox, but I haven't tried it out yet. I'm intrigued by the idea of providing an export to it though. Have you looking into importing games at all? I'm curious if there's a particular format or naming convention that's needed. I'll do some research as well and try installing the application. |

Huh, first time I've seen this program. Reminds me a lot of the kind of customization that you can find in Kodi (formerly XBMC) If I wasn't already set up with custom launchers for everything in Steam (mostly to take advantage of in-home streaming and big picture mode in my living room) I'd be tempted to use this instead. |

First off, welcome! Second, thanks for the heads up on this! I hadn't heard of it either. I'm importing my games now and hoping I don't choke it to death. ;) |

I've heard of Launchbox before but never really jumped in with it. The idea of having to put everything into ANOTHER database is a little killer. If Completionator could interface with it that would be pretty snazzy/a big help. In the past I looked at other launches (related to MAME cabinets) and those seemed a bit snazzier than Launchbox, but Launchbox may be easier to set up. On the other hand, the launcher I'm using right now is simple... but completely free of frills (and ugly lol): http://i.imgur.com/8eQuZ8y.jpg Update: Couldn't get Launchbox to take my DOS stuff automatically. Will try that again later. On the other hand, it took like 30 minutes to import my Steam library which is neat!
