To go along with the Autumn Steam Sale, we're giving away some Steam games! Each giveaway has its own thread with a simple question / challenge for you to complete. Really all you need to do is post in the thread and then I'll randomly select someone. In order to participate, you need to post by 11:59PM EST on 11/30/15. That gives you one more sale day, just in case you want to buy the game if you don't win it ;) I'll post in the thread once a winner has been randomly chosen and the gifts will be sent directly through Steam (unless you prefer email).

I'm not really a big reader, but I've enjoyed many books over the years. Advent Rising is notable for involvement from Orson Scott Card and I thought it was a heck of a game as well. So let's get the giveaways started off by asking a totally non-gaming related question of what are some of your favorite books?

I'm a big fan of Star Trek novels and of Larry Niven. I hugely recommend "Mogworld" by Yahtzee Croshaw (yes, the Zero Punctuation guy) if you at all like fantasy MMOs, but even if you don't

Was always a huge fan of Michael Crichton (RIP) for books like Jurassic Park, Sphere, Andromeda Strain, and several others, but the distinction of favourite books belongs to Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Especially Wizard and Glass.

I remember reading a lot of the Goosebumps books when I was growing up since I was in the target age range at the time. Man, I loved those! I was a big reader then and eventually moved on to Michael Crichton, specifically Jurassic Park, Congo, and The Andromeda Strain (didn't finish this one though, couldn't get into it). Around the time I started high school, I bought my Sega Saturn and shifted back to video games, which sort of ended my run as a big reader. I've read a handful of books since then, but nothing like I used to. I really want to finish The Martian, I was hooked on it until life got in the way.

Might have to check out Mogworld though!

@boffo97 - Winner! If you happen to try the game out, let us know what you think. As I mentioned in my first post, I rather enjoyed this one :)
