To go along with the Autumn Steam Sale, we're giving away some Steam games! Each giveaway has its own thread with a simple question / challenge for you to complete. Really all you need to do is post in the thread and then I'll randomly select someone. In order to participate, you need to post by 11:59PM EST on 11/30/15. That gives you one more sale day, just in case you want to buy the game if you don't win it ;) I'll post in the thread once a winner has been randomly chosen and the gifts will be sent directly through Steam (unless you prefer email).

If you're like me, there are games out there that you've always wanted to play, but for whatever reason, you haven't gotten around to yet. Outcast is one of those games for me. I remember drooling over it in PC Gamer back in the '90s and although I've picked it up on GOG and Steam, I've still yet to actually play through it. I need to change that at some point...But for now, what are some of the games that you've always wanted to play, but haven't done so yet?

South Park: The Stick of Truth immediately comes to mind as a game I was very excited to get, then just haven't been able to play much yet. I need to sit down and focus on it for a while, especially since it's one of those games that if you come back to it later, you feel like "I might as well restart".

Kingdom Hearts, any of them. Might be too old to enjoy them at this point, I have no idea. I did buy the HD collections this year for my ps3 based purely on what others have said and I will get around to them and complete them fully. Just gotta finish up the final fantasy 13 trilogy (almost done 13-2!) and Fallout 4 before I start up another heavy time investment game.

Dragon Age Inquisition
Shadow of the Colossus
Final Fantasy 13/2 and 13/3

I played Dragon Age Origins back in the day and LOVED that game immensely. I did recently try 2 but for whatever reason couldn't get into it. I'm not giving up on it but it definitely didn't reel me in like Origins did.
There are a TON more but those are the ones I know right off the top of my head. I've got the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD pack and I did manage to play ICO and beat it. Wonderful game. I just need to find time to play Shadow of the Colossus.
I did play and beat FF13 when it came out originally and I loved it even though a lot of people didn't much care for it due to its linear nature. I thought the story was extremely strong and the characters were likeable.

AHH...too many games, not enough time! :(

@dhobo - Winner! I've tried playing Kingdom Hearts several times and I never make it through. I love Square, RPGs, Disney, etc, but it just doesn't hook me for some reason. I love the combat, but I think it's one of those games where the story doesn't click with me at my age and I get bored when I'm not slaughtering enemies. I made it further than I ever have maybe a year ago and I'm still holding out hope that I'll pick it back up...

And @jwcooley, what are you doing!?! You haven't played Shadow of the Colossus yet!! That's definitely one of my favorite PS2 games. I'd be up for a roll through the HD version sometime.

Thanks moho_00, this one looks great! I'm getting Giants: Citizen Kabuto vibes from it and it has 172 achievements? My kind of game!
