I'm not sure what to make of this game just yet. I've played for about 1.5 hours and at times it seems like just another mobile port, but overall it's pretty polished. And it has that "just one more mission..." feel to it, which is good. The game is pretty easy overall, especially if you spend your money on stuff and take your time. But it's not so easy that I'm just rolling through without taking damage. I've definitely lost quite a few troopers and that's actually important since they rank up and have permadeath.

The atmosphere kinda reminds me of Battalion Wars, which was a GREAT game. The gameplay is completely different though :P

Aaaaaaaand I'm done. I ended up going for all achievements and it took right at 5 hours for everything. It was a neat game, but a bit too casual to hold much of a challenge. The last achievement was a real pain, took about 1.5 hours of grinding to get it. And it's not just grindy, it's somewhat luck based, so it got really annoying and boring. I recommend muting the sound and listening to music. That made it a lot more tolerable.

Anyways, this one is definitely worth checking out for a little more than a buck. Especially if you want 25/25 achievements ;)

Apparently it's similar to the Cannon Fodder games, so I'll have to try out one of those (I have two of 'em and I've never even installed them).
