This thread was prompted by our Rocky beatings last night. I love that game and feel it's highly underrated.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem - Love the game and think it didn't get enough attention.

"Rocky" was a good and fun game that never got a lot of respect or even acknowledgement. I also like "Giest" a lot. It was a every interesting and unique play on the first person shoot that I don't think ever got a lot of traction. I always loved a wackey little game called "The Wild 9" that no one but myself and Mike ever played. I found it by playing a level of it on a demo disc that came with something that I bought. There was a point and click game on PSOne called "Echo Night" that really pulled me in when I played it. It was a very interesting world exploration game with a great storyline. The made a sequel, but I never played it. I also though "Parasite Eve" was underrated. The Final Fantasy like RPGs have neve been my cup of tea, but I loved this game. I beat it twice. I also never played that sequel.

I've not played this through all the way, but I've heard Beyond Good & Evil is another game that was really good but didn't get enough attention.

Are you referring to The Guardian Legend? If so, then yes, it's the most underrated NES game ever!

I'd also like to throw out Space Station Silicon Valley on the N64. Oh and also Panzer Dragoon Saga since far too few people got a chance to play it.

@moho_00 I completely agree with SSSV being a hidden gem...and while we are talking about N64, has anyone ever played Goemon's Great Adventure on N64? One of the only 2D platformers on the system (the only other ones I can think of is Tigger's Honey Hunt and Tarzan) and it is FANTASTIC. It also has local multiplayer so you can play with friends!

Oh man, you reminded me I want to play Space Station Silicon Valley again :P That game is tough, but oh-so-rewarding! I wonder if I could still beat it?

I haven't played Goemon's Great Adventure, but I HAVE played Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon! I rented it back in the '90s and loved it. I keep saying I'm going to finish it, but it never seems to happen hehe. I would LOVE to get a copy of the other one, but it's tough to find and really expensive. I could say the same thing for Snowboard Kids, which is another one I rented and enjoyed back in the day :)

I LOVED both Mystical Ninjas on the N64! Mystical Ninja starring Goemon played more like an Ocarina clone (minus the giant robot fights lol) while Great Adventure played more like the Super Nintendo Mystical Ninja. Both very different from each other, both fantastic N64 games.

Snowboard Kids is another fantastic game. I personally enjoyed Snowboard Kids 2 more than 1 but all my friends like 1 better.
