I've had the desire to keep my Playstation Plus games separate from my other games that I've bought on Playstation Network because, at least in theory, your license to access "Plus" games expires when your Plus does. Over on Xbox's Games With Gold, you apparently keep your games forever for 360, but Xbox One games also expire with your Plus access.

So it seems to me that the easiest solution on here would be to add Playstation Plus as a "digital provider" for PSP, PS Vita, PS3 and PS4, and Games With Gold as a "digital provider" for Xbox One. It's a bit of a fudge since those games still are delivered via PSN and Xbox Live Arcade, but since there's no PS Plus or Games With Gold that aren't delivered in such a fashion, it shouldn't be an issue.

I made a list called PS+ which I add my subscription based games to for sorting/filtering purposes.

I add them as I own them only if I play them.

If I ever decide to let my subscription pass, I'll probably change the status of the game from owned to loaned/previously owned. Even if there was a PS Plus digital choice, I think I would still pick PSN.

I think I would be okay with two digital choices for PlayStation related choices:

PSN
PSN (PS Plus)

I know making a list is an option, but it seems a lot easier (to me anyway) just to have it as a digital provider. Plus, manually changing the status is a headache since I put in ALL of them, and I certainly wouldn't want to go change all of them over when I unsub, then put all of them back when I resub.

For adding your collection of subscription games from scratch, or new games from this point onwards, yeah, it would save a little time to just pick a PSN (ps+) option (or the xbox equivalent)

If you've already added all these games to your collection then if anything, I actually think using lists would be easier since you can add/remove a game from existing lists with two clicks per game, whereas changing your distributor requires more steps since you'd need to go in to edit each game's details. I know with over 300 games in my ps+ list, changing them all would be a pain in the butt either way, lol

Can't really hurt to add the options. Personally though, I doubt I'd use it since I've got my list system that's working for me.

I can go ahead and add "PlayStation Plus" for PS3, PS4, PSP, and PS Vita. I'll also add "Games for Gold" for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. I know you said it works different for 360, but I'll add it anyways so you have the option of categorizing however you want. Although I think lists could be used instead, I like the idea of providing flexibility in situations like this :)

Thanks, moho. And nothing against those who do it by list. :)
