Thanks for accepting this bounty! Here you can talk with other bounty hunters as you progress through the game and keep everyone up to date on your progress. |

Time to get this party started! Nostalgia better be good to me, I loved this game when I was younger, haha

This was one of the games I remember seeing in stores and thinking "man, I wish I had a PC!" It was also one of the first games I picked up when I finally did get a PC in 1998. And boy did I love it! I used to play the first episode for funsies between classes in college and knew those levels in and out. I would do a full playthrough every once in a while as well, just to stay sharp. I ended up replaying it back in 2014 and I thought it held up very well, but I'm looking through some very rose-tinted glasses hehe. The expansions are okay, but I didn't like the level design quite as much as I did the original game. I played through both of them last year for the first time and they're pretty short (roughly 2 hours a pop). I even dressed up as Caleb one year for Halloween and absolutely nobody knew who I was. |

Hahah, honestly, I can't say I blame people for not recognizing you! Talk about a badass but obscure costume! |

Okay....Confused. I bought One Unit Whole Blood off of Steam. Is that the same thing as this? Edit: I see now. It's the compilation. Includes Blood. I didn't know it included more than just the one game. Score! Okay, so in this instance, it still should count as a bounty towards Blood as long as I enter the completion for Blood...even though it is a compilation, right?

Yeah, One Unit Whole Blood includes Blood and its two expansions. The playthrough that's created from the bounty will be for Blood and yep, it'll count even though it's in a compilation. |

Yeah, I'm planning to play through these. I'm excited to finally try these games. |

It's a close race between Blood and Duke Nukem 3D for my favorite Build Engine game, but I think I'll give the nod to Caleb. It helps if you like B-movie horror too :P |

I am making some moderately good progress in this game. I'm on Episode 2 and feel like I'm getting through it much faster than Episode 1. This is a very good FPS game. |

I spent some time getting the controls to work properly today, looking forward to diving in properly tomorrow to start my run :) |

I did that a couple days ago. I had to even tweak a little bit once I got a little ways in because swimming came into the picture. I think the most annoying enemies in the game so far are the rats! |

Well that was fun! Lot more difficult than I remember this game being back in the day, holy crap. Playing on extra crispy is going to be really tough when I get around to it. |

@Dhobo - I just looked at your time. 16 hours...wow. |

lol, yeah, I had a lot of problems with this one. Controls never really stopped feeling weird from start to finish, especially the up/down distortion that happens with aiming. Almost got nauseous a few times from it. Tried playing it on a smaller screen to see if it would help a bit, but then I was dealing with playing with a laptop track pad which was frankly even worse. I dunno, I'll have to figure something out for my next attempt at this, because I really really like the game. |

This game is really fun. The only gripe I have with it is sometimes I have NO clue where the hell to go. I think I've added a little bit of time to my play through entries just trying to figure out where the hell a door is or where a switch is. I'm glad I'm finally playing this one after hearing so much positive about it. |

Haha, my memory of this game was practically non-existent. It took me five minutes to find the exit button for the very second level. I mean, it's painfully obvious when you do find it, but I must have run past it a dozen times after clearing the last section. The worst part is that this is at least my third playthrough of the game, so I don't know what was up. Probably explains a lot of my 16 hours :/ |

I clocked in at 10 hours and 30 minutes. The last boss was probably the easiest boss of the entire game. Maybe I was getting more powerful! |

@Dhobo - Did you stop playing AFTER you finished the original game or did you keep playing and finish Post Mortem? I think Post Mortem is a part of the Plasma Pak expansion, so I was curious if you did stop when the original Blood game was done. |

The other question for anybody that knows - how do you access the other expansion pack for this game? |

With the GOG release, Cryptic Passage is a separate executable. |

Whew - Finished the Plasma Pak and the original game. I looked at the Steam forums to figure out how to make Steam startup Cryptic Passage so that's tomorrow's adventure. After this....Beyond Good & Evil! |

Yeah, I ended up stopping at the end of the original game. I haven't touched either expansion yet. |

NAM is another Build engine game on my list, so I decided to try it out today and wow, that game is HARD! If you think Blood is rough, you haven't seen anything yet. I thought about making a bounty for it, but not sure I could make it through, perhaps someone else could? |
