I used to loooove this game as a kid and I played it as "Super Mario Advance" many times. I might have to give this one a go, though I'm not sure my digits are skilled enough anymore :P

Oh my gosh. This game is so damn different than most any other Mario game out there and I think it's also a personal favorite of the series.

I just gave this a shot and am trying to play through without warping. I put 2 hours into it and failed. I reached 5-3 and couldn't get past the boss. Hopefully I get the urge to play this again before the bounty expires. It's hard to put 2 hours into something then have to start all the way over again.

I got the urge to play again and it went much better this time. I completed the game in an hour and 50 minutes. I played as the Princess the entire time (I always have played as the princess, even as a kid. ) I got through all of the levels without warping so I'm calling this completionated! :)

I only beat this once before a long time ago with the assistance of the Game Genie. I'm glad I finally beat it without any cheats.

That's impressive! I've not run into many Mario games that are easy...so to beat one without cheats/warping is very impressive!

Thanks. This one is definitely one of the hardest Mario's because it's so different from all the others. I got lucky on a few of the later levels. It wasn't skill for sure.

I forgot to mention that I got through the game without using a continue and had 7 lives left when I beat the game. I had a max of 25 lives at one point in the game. I got extremely lucky on the slot machine today.
