Hi, is it possible to add a list of non existing games ? Actually I use an Excel sheet with some information like approximate prices and dates of released and my priorities. |

Are you interested in following them because you've backed them and want to eventually add them to your collection? Or are you looking for way to track them so you don't forget about them? If you're looking to add them to your collection, I think it's just a matter of getting those games loaded :) We have other "in development" games already with the various Early Access Steam games. Plus I generally try to add upcoming releases shortly before they're released (though I don't get all of them). So I think the games you mentioned all fit under that criteria and certainly warrant an entry. If you're looking to just track them and haven't backed / bought them yet, I think the Wish List could be utilized here. It had been mentioned before that maybe tags should be implemented on the wish list and I think that would satisfy your need? That way you could tag them with "in development" or something and then quickly filter to them. The prices and release dates are trickier, but could be a tag as well. The only issue there is you wouldn't be able to sort on it. I could potentially add a field to the wish list that let's you enter your "ideal price" or something. That would potentially be handy for all wish list items, but could be used for you as well in this situation. Let me know what you think and I'm sure I can come up with something :D I'm in the middle of rebuilding the Game Details page (this one) right now, but I can add this to my list. |

I think adding games that are in development is fine. In fact, Torment: Tides of Numenera is already in the database! I'll include the rest of them with the next load (should be later today). I like your idea of having a notes field on wish list items, much like we have for items in your collection. I could see this being useful if you want to make a note of finding it in "the wild" or things like that. And it could work for what you're describing as well. As for updating game information, that's a bit more difficult. The curation team and myself have a way to find these "in development" games easily, but we may not always know about the changes. Ultimately, I think everyone on the site should be able to submit changes or notify of errors on the game information (such as name, what game it's for in the case of DLC, etc). But for now, I would say just post here on the forums if you happen to see anything out of whack and we can get it taken care of :) |

Great, I found my examples in your database, so I just wait for the tags and maybe this useful notes field. |

I was able to add tags to the wish list today, so feel free to give it a whirl and let me know if you have any issues. I'll add the other items as well, but it might be a few weeks, so I wanted to at least get the tags implemented. One thing to keep in mind is I'm "sharing" the tags between your collection and wish list items. I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do or if they should be separate, so let me know what you think on that.

It works perfectly fine, thanks. "Sharing" the tags between collection and wish list is really a good idea, for me at least. In my case I use the same tags in both lists for genre (adventure, strategy, etc.) + "in development" + "estimated date of release", so one list of tags is better, simpler and time-saving.

Oooh I like the "add to your collection" button idea. I'll add that to my list :D I can re-use the existing "add" screen and pre-populate the platform / digital provider. The tags aren't currently on that screen, but I'll make it so they can be passed through. |
