Thanks for accepting this bounty! Here you can talk with other bounty hunters as you progress through the game and keep everyone up to date on your progress. This game is finally out of Early Access, so I thought a bounty was in order! I've played it for a couple of hours and it's quite fun :D

How is it compared to Titan Quest/Immortal Throne? I've been catching mixed reviews on this so far. |

It's been many years since I played Titan Quest, but I'd say the overall feel is very similar (although I didn't finish Immortal Throne, it got waaaay too grindy for me). It has some of the modern niceties like immediate town portal, plentiful waypoints, circular dungeons, etc. They introduced an interesting constitution mechanic that I haven't seen before in an ARPG. It seems like there are a lot of character builds you can make and there isn't a traditional "pick your class and go" setup. The only issue I can see so far is there doesn't seem to be a way to respec your character indefinitely. There IS a way to respec, but you have to pay for it and the cost continually goes up, ultimately leaving you in a place where it's not affordable anymore. Or at least, that's what I suspect will happen. I haven't actually needed to respec yet, but I will say the skill / devotion screens are rather intimidating at first. Overall, it seems pretty polished and I don't know why you wouldn't enjoy it if you like games like Titan Quest, Diablo, etc. |

I'm almost five hours in and I'm loving this game. I've always been a big fan of Diablo-clone games and this one is solid. There are lots of things to kill, a seemingly endless supply of quests (some with long-term, irreversible implications), and a huge map to explore. The progression so far has been very nice and I always feel like I'm growing in power, while the enemies continue to get stronger. Also, there are various places that you can build bridges or destroy rocks and open up new paths. I was able to build a bridge to get to an area where enemies were about 5 levels higher than me. So it's not exactly an open world, but at least there are options if you want to venture into areas before you're ready. My only complaint so far is I've found a couple of caves where I was way under-leveled, but they don't show up on my map as incomplete. So I have to try and remember where they are and go back sometime. Given how much there is to do, I'll be lucky just to remember it, let alone where it is hehe. |

I really want to play this but I doubt I'll buy and play it while the bounty is live. This is one of those games that I don't need a bounty as incentive to play, haha. |

I'm rolling through this one pretty well and I'm about to pass the 10 hour mark. I have no idea how far I am, but the game seems kinda big. I'm still unlocking new ways to upgrade / build my character and I understand about 20% of it haha. Oh well, I'm just going to keep stacking internal / bleeding damage and bludgeon things to death. The difficulty is starting to ramp up as well, which is a good thing. It starts out really easy, at least for a melee character. But now I'm having to actually watch my health / constitution and avoid AOE attacks. Of course, in typical Diablo-clone fashion, I have zero interest in the story. I just want quest markers and things to kill hehe. I hate missing out on the story in games like this because I know a lot of time was spent on it, but at least it speaks volumes for how good the gameplay is that I can't wait to get back into it :) |
