If anyone wants this game, I think I have an extra key for it. It appears to be unredeemed on Humble, but I thought I had redeemed it already. The good news is, I have TWO seemingly unredeemed keys on Humble, so surely at least one of them works :P

Is there any reason to have played the first one prior to playing this??

I can't say for sure, but I think it's fairly standalone.

Notice that it's the developer official website, they offer their first game and you can play chapter 1 of Samorost 2 or Machinarium. If you like it, they will release Samorost 3 eventually end of this month.
I haven't tried Samorost but I love Machinarium so moho if you still have an extra key I would be more than interested!

Just finished this one. I liked it but didn't love it. If it would have been much more than an hour or so, I don't know if I could stomached it for much longer than it was. Glad it is in the books, though.

It was ok but some annoying mechanics in the end where you have to do some boring thing a few times if you don't understand directly the idea.
By the way you should begin with Samorost 1 because it's exactly the same characters and just 10-15min long!
