WAAAAAAY back in early 2015, Sony sent out news about a settlement in a class action suit against them over the month plus attack on their networks, including PSN. One of the possible benefits from this suit was 3 games off of a list, or if you had previously participated in Sony's "Welcome Back" program after the outage, 1 game off the list since you got 2 before.

Some said they felt it was wrong to get an additional game, but I felt it a little karmic justice as one of the games I selected later turned out to be one of the games given away on PS Plus for free (Dead Nation) so I signed up and selected the original LittleBigPlanet as a benefit (which I should have done before but didn't because I owned a physical copy at the time).

Anyway, the code for the game FINALLY came in today. So I wanted to give a heads up in case anyone else participated in the settlement to check your mailboxes, including spam folder if you don't see it.

I got my code today too for Rain. I already have it as part of PS Plus.

Yeah, it really seems it was a mistake to pick anything that wasn't a Triple-A title at the time. Without the last minute change to PS Plus, Super Stardust HD would be another one (and is in Europe) that was given in the settlement, then given on PS Plus.

At least now you can use it without being on PS Plus, so that's something. :)
