You have two really good ones going at once for me...what am I to do! I really hope I can get this one done. I have beat it before but again it's been a long time.

I'm sure I'm going to regret saying this, but I seem to be rolling through this game so far. It's been probably 20 years since I last played through the SNES version, though I did beat the GBA version when it came out. I seem to recall it being a bit more difficult, but for the most part, I'm not having much of a problem. It's certainly nothing like the last time I tried to play Super Mario Bros. 3, which was complete and utter failure ;)

Oh and I just finished the 5th castle, though I haven't done much of the extra stuff.

Just finished this one at 3:48. I went straight through without warping. The max number of lives I got was 89 and I finished the game with around 60. I'm not sure what my final score was since it resets the score and lives when you turn off the game (very dumb move on Nintendo's part on this. I would have been mad to collect 90 lives and have them reset to 5 lives when i turn the game back on). My score was well over 1 million. I got through 66 stages plus Bowser's Castle. Since I didn't get through them all I didn't mark this as Completionated. I did only one of the Star Road stages and I didn't find every secret exit.

Great game overall!
