With the announcement of the new Hoops mode (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L7K5kMwWdg) I have once again started back up playing Rocket League. Is there any users on here that still play? If so I wanted to start this thread to so that we could exchange PSN ids and other Rocket League related topics. If anyone is interested, my PSN id is VVhitsEnd. Please note that I wanted to start this as a friendly exchange so that we can all play together and have fun. I am by no means great at Rocket League, but it has seriously provided me with one of the best multiplayer experiences I have ever had in games and I want to continue playing with my new friends on here from the Completionator!

I have a problem.....i am addicted to Rocket League. I probably have over 500 hours in this game and I cant stop. I have the game on both PS4 and Steam. I made it to Master on PS4 and Veteran on Steam. However, even though I have played a ton I'm still not all that good according to my rank. In ranked mode I am Prospect Elete. I did cross over to Challenger 1 for a little bit but I'm back to PE. I'm going to participate in the RLCS, the Rocket League tournament, next weekend to get my butt handed to me I'm sure, but it should be fun.

Hoops mode will be very fun and very challenging for me....I still am, after countless hours of practice, VERY sporadic with ariels lol. I probably miss a good 80% of the time lol.

I am terrible at this game. It's a lot of fun, but I can only play in small doses before I start getting frustrated with my inability to git gud enough to hold my own against more competent players.

At one point, this game devolved into my buddy and I practicing our aerial moves by launching ourselves at each other from long distances to try and hit fast moving small targets mid-air. It was silly.

Well look at that, it's on sale this weekend on Steam! I just picked it up for $11.99. It's also a free weekend if anyone wants to give it a shot. I've never played it, but it sounds fun, so I said screw it.

It's a ton of fun moho. The games are quick 5 minute matches which is great if you want to get a quick game or two in. The problem with me is I think "I can do better than that, just one more game..." but I say that for the next two hours. The best part of the game is when you score a goal the explosion that happens is very satisfying.

In the beginning you should get paired up with fellow rookies (unless you come across people starting over or who played on PS4 but went over to the Steam version, like I did....I felt bad for those rookies XD. )

You may see people flying around hitting the ball, don't worry if you can't do it. It took hundreds of games before I could even hit the ball in the air.

There's an Ice Hockey mode and the Hoops mode is coming soon plus they have a lot of concept maps in the Rocket Labs area that are fun and different. The designers of the game are always coming up with new ways to play.

I technically have it, but I have it on PS4 (which I don't actually own) through PS Plus.

Though its rabid success made me go back and spend more time with its PS3 predecessor Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars (from PS Plus WAY back in the day) and that's a lot of fun too.

I'm in the same boat at boffo97, wouldn't have ever dreamed of ever playing a game like this if it weren't for ps+ haha. I don't think I ever played supersonic acrobatic rocket powered battle cars despite having it from eons ago as well.

HOOPS Mode now available! Has anyone tried it yet? I played one match this morning and was having fun with it. I'm not very good because I am terrible at aerials but I was still having a blast. Looking forward playing after work.

I played a little last night. I thought it was really fun. A nice change from the soccer modes. Hopefully this will help me in being able to give direction to my aerial hits. Right now im praying to goes toward the goal when i hit the ball.
