Okay, so I'm a few hours early in my timezone, but whatever! We have some new Star Wars bounties up and I figured it was time to give away a game!

This giveaway is a little different since it's not for any game in particular. Instead, you can choose ANY Star Wars game on Steam or GOG that's $5 or less. Both places have sales going on, so there are lots of games to choose from, including the newly released Shadows of the Empire (which is also a bounty hint, hint) on GOG.

To participate in the giveaway, simply list your favorite and least favorite Star Wars movies and why you chose them. You have until 11:59:59 EST on Friday, May 6th to post. I'll randomly select a winner from those that participate and then you'll have a day or so to pick your game. The sales end on May 9th, so be sure to check back! If no game is selected, you'll get whatever I choose hehe

Oh and to help expedite things, feel free to post which game you'd like to receive if you win ;)

Favorite - Episode 4 - The first movie to get me into the series....it's always awesome to watch
Second Favorite - Episode 3 - Before the Force Awakens came out, we re-watched all six films and this one just keeps getting better every time I watch it. The ending battle was awesome...and finally seeing the plans of the trilogy come to fruition was awesome.

Least Favorite....Probably Episode 1 - The Kid and Jar Jar Binks kill that movie for me. It's still enjoyable, but I can't stand when those two are on the screen....

As far as what Star Wars game...I'll let you pick as long as it is on Steam. I don't have many in my library, so I'll let you pick what you think is best.

We're past the deadline, so jwcooley should win. I would have chosen Shadows though. :D

That said, my favorite and least favorite are also Episode 4 and Episode 1 respectively.

Episode 4: Yes, movie-wise, Empire is better, but nothing beats the original, especially since the good guys win.

Episode 1: Jar Jar and Jake Lloyd's Anakin are annoyances to be sure, I also felt they were trying to make the plot too complicated, both in the story being about a trade embargo and politics, and 4 separate plots going on at the end (1. Anakin attacking droid control ship., 2. Quigon and Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul, 3. Padme and her guards vs. the Federation guys, 4. Jar Jar and the Gungans vs the droids.)

My friends all think I'm a broken nerd because I don't like the Star Wars movies much, at all. I still haven't seen episode 2, 3, or the remake of episode 4 that came out recently. :P

As for me, my favorite is The Empire Strikes Back. I feel it just has the best overall story with lots of action and some great scenes.

My least favorite is Episode 2. I've always felt that the second act to that movie is rather boring and unnecessary. The way they built up the romance just didn't cut it for me. The beginning and ending are fine, it's just that lull in the middle.

As for Episode 1, I must defend it! I absolutely loved it when it first came out and I've seen it more than any other in the franchise. I never understood all of the Jar Jar Binks hate since he didn't really bother me. Then again, I generally enjoy weird creatures / races in movies like this, so it was easy for me to root for the Gungans. Anakin, on the other hand, was dreadful. Easily the worst part of the movie, but not enough to sway my opinion of it. And, of course, it's the only one with DARTH MAUL!! On pure style alone, that dude was killer.
