I laughed so hard, when reading this stuff, I almost choked myself. I have made my share of database programs choke and loose data with my own game collection. Because of its huge size, I jump at any chance to digitize its entirety and expand my options for said digital versions of me library titles. This is certainly something I need to look into. It blows my mind there is no direct link from the main site to this GOG Connect.

I think they only link from the main site to GOG Connect when there's actual games in the GOG Connect program. Right now, there aren't any.

Got on board with GOG connect. I click on that bloody button daily, to remind it of its function, and get the same results of no matches found. Seems like they didn't bother to consider the server traffic overload this created for them LOL

As boffo said, there aren't any games available on GOG Connect right now. They only run a batch for a limited time. You'll get that message until they run the next batch.

Wow, I got 16 "new" games from the update. Sure, they're all ones I had on Steam already, but second source plus in most cases the GOG extras makes it a neat get.

GOG Connect is active again, this time just for Torchlight and Torchlight 2.

It is worth noting that the first game was given away for free on GOG at one point so you may already have it there.

It's good this is being a thing again, although right now it's pretty useless having only 2 games...
