I've been wanting to replay this game for a while, so I figured why not make a bounty for it? Perhaps it will entice me to actually follow through on that plan. In any case, I have a free GOG key for anyone interested in taking on the World of Darkness.

moho , I remember playing this one at your house. I believe that I even still have a copy. All I remember is that part where you have to run between shadows to stay alive. I see to remember this being hard, and much more fun with other players in the game.

My, my, camera in this one is something special.
I just got through Cappdaocian tombs and it was some experience. Fortunately the game is not that bad otherwise.

I started this several times but never got past Prague.
Hopefully this bounty will help me to finally beat it.

I agree with you on the camera! I'm always fighting with it, but luckily I've played it enough that it's not too bad anymore ;) I'm hoping I have time to hop into this bounty, but we'll see.

For few days I am stuck in London but it is still much further than I've ever got.
I can't say I came to appreciate the game over time. I actually find some features even more irritating and writing and story is quite poor.
Still acceptable enough to go on.
But I can't imagine playing it when it came out, without the pause (and saving anywhere to some degree too).

So I am finally done with it.

Acording to save time, it took me 21 hours and 8 minutes but the game doesn't accounts for reloads and time spent in menus so I would say the game took me several more hours.

At first I thought I would like the game more but it has a lot of flaws. AI is braindead. It can't use weapons with continued attacks (machine guns, chainsaw, etc.) it uses abilities mostly at random and rarely the corect ones. It is not beyond casting protection against staking when fighting 1 viper. Plus there is tragic pathfinding. Enemies are not doing much better.
Story is quite lacking too. I couldn't care less most of the time and Christof's obsession with Anežka felt crazy and was boring most of the time. It didn't help that most dialogues are utterly ridiculous and characters' make little sense.
Level design is nothing special either. Also there is that already mentioned camera controls and ridiculous camera angles during cutscenes.
Another thing I do not appreciate in any game that is present here are random unavoidable one-shot kills from bosses. You either cheese them, or have to rely on pure luck. If they use it, GG, if they don't, one has chance to defeat them.
Best thing about this game was that it made me laugh several times with how ridiculous it was and with its bugs. :-)

Overall I was not too fond of the game as it has too many flaws. I mostly finished it because I like to finish games and because of this bounty. But I won't be going around recommanding it to people.

I bought this one when it first came out and at the time, it was amazing. I was blown away by the graphics and the overall mature storyline. It was kinda wonky on release though and I didn't actually finish it until many years later. I remember it having some odd difficulty spikes as well (i.e. those bosses you mentioned).
