Someone gave me Chrono trigger as a mission and it has automatically created a playthrough. I haven't tried it so far but the bounty on the game was the perfect occasion. The problem is that accepting the bounty has created automatically a new playthrough for Chrono trigger and both playthrough are not deletable (playthrough as mission and as bounty are not deletable). Thanks for the bounty and for the mission by the way, good motivation to do a great game I have never finished.

Unfortunately, there isn't any sort of integration between bounties and missions as they're intended to be standalone features. It's not ideal, but I think the best solution would be to cancel either the mission or bounty and participate in the other. I've considered doing something to handle this, but A) I'm not sure what I would do to handle it and B) it shouldn't happen too often, at least not until we have a lot of Guild members :) |

Ok, no problem. I guess I was too greedy :) |

So I thought about this some more and I actually think this would work fine. I would need to modify it so when you accept a bounty, if you have an existing playthrough, you could optionally choose to just use that one. This would apply even if you're not trying to do both a bounty and mission, but if you just have a "normal" playthrough going and a game pops up for bounty. Missions are trickier since they automatically create a playthrough, but we can worry about those later ;) Anyways, the code indirectly enforces that you have two separate playthroughs for a bounty and mission. However, the underlying data model absolutely supports having the same playthrough for both a bounty AND a mission. I briefly reviewed some of the code and I would expect both the bounty and mission to be marked as "complete" when you add a completion, which is really the only integration hook for either item. I don't know if any of this makes sense since I'm kinda rambling here, but nevertheless, I think this is possible. If you're interested, I can manually update your playthrough so it applies to both your mission and the Chrono Trigger bounty. You can then be our guinea pig on this experiment :P If you'd rather not, no worries, I'll add a bounty / mission for myself and give it a shot at some point. Assuming everything works, I can update the screen where you accept a bounty and let you select from an existing playthrough (with or without a mission tied to it) to properly handle this. |

Hem being a "pig" could be a problem but I'd love to give it a try if you want to test something. What should I do ? I already cancelled the bounty and suppress its playthrough. I've actually added 5 hours to the playthrough coming from the mission. |
