I don't know about Steam, but GOG's 85% discount for Shadow Warrior owners is permanent: "Lay waste to an army of nefarious contraptions and cause a Hard Reset: Redux, DRM-free on GOG.com. Owners of Shadow Warrior (2013), who want to smash some mean machines, can instead take advantage of the whopping, permanent 85% loyalist discount! |

Was really hoping to see Until Dawn go on sale this month on PSN. This sale of the dead is pretty weak compared to some of the other sales they've had in recent months... Though that's on the publishers heads rather than Sony. |

The only thing that remotely interested me was the Michonne TellTale Walking Dead game. Otherwise, yeah, I agree with you on the weakness. |

So the Steam Halloween Sale is going on right now! ...and out of the 5.100 games they have on sale the only ones I might be interested in are the TellTale Walking Dead game and Harverster... EDIT: It's not like there aren't any games I want to buy, they just don't have great discounts. Now to choose which ones of these I really want/have good enough discounts... Please convince me to not buy these games. Please.

I would probably knock Hyper Light Drifter on the list because that seems primed for a future Humble Bundle. Slain I'm also cautious of because it launched at first so bad that they ended up completely redoing a lot of stuff ( and I never checked if that truly made it better or not lol). Other than that, this is an excellent batch of games! And yes, I do think Harvester is great, in a "oh my god I can't believe this is a real game" way.

I've also noticed that Resident Evil HD Remaster is on sale (50%) (Highest discount it's had) so I don't know... I shouldn't spend that much money on games I won't even have time to play so I guess I'll choose one or two. I'll probably get the ones with the highest discounts, namely RE and TWD. Or maybe I shouldn't buy anything, Steam Winter Sale is just behind the corner anyway... Edit: It seems like Resident Evil 0 Remake is also on sale (50%), should I play this one before Resident Evil HD Remaster? I've never played any of these games.

Resident Evil 0 was released after Resident Evil (original and GC remake), so despite the name and stuff most fans played it after. It doesn't really matter which way you do the order, though. |

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is on Amazon for $0.74, which is a buck cheaper than it is on Steam for the Halloween sale. https://www.amazon.com/Legacy-Kain-Defiance-Online-Game/dp/B00CBJ73OY/ |

I picked up a few games, ended up spending about $10 or so. The main ones I wanted were Postal Redux and Lakeview Cabin Collection. I played the Resident Evil Remake when it first came out on GameCube and thought it was EXCELLENT. I had beaten the original game soooo many times, but it still seemed fresh and worth playing. I picked the Remaster up on Steam and started it, but never actually finished it. I should do that. I should also play the Legacy of Kain games. |

Decided to bite the bullet and fill out my Dead Rising collection during this steam sale. Since 1 was re-released, I grabbed that along with 3 since it had a small bundle discount. Only thing I'm planning to snag now is Until Dawn if the PSN Day of the Dead sale week 2 has it (Hopefully!) |

Xenogears is only $2.99 right now on PSN, if anyone needs a copy to join in on the bounty! I would love to gift one, but I don't think PSN lets you

Yeah, I understand why they won't add gifting (given their history with getting hacked) but damn it'd be a nice feature to have. I would also like to recommend Xenogears to anyone who loves lengthy RPGs with interesting combat mechanics and overly convoluted plotlines, haha. |
