Also, this game is in no way connected to the first Phantasmagoria. And it's a totally ridiculous game. |

Can't wait to play through this one, loved the first, excited for a more ridiculous one! |

Loving it so far. Love that they took the trashy level up a few notches. My only negative is the lack of hints like in the first one, lol. I've had to refer to the sierrahelp site a time or two when I've been stuck forever. Just finished Chapter 3, and at this rate I'm sure I'll finish it this weekend and then start on D. |

Is there ANY need to play the first one before this one? I've got both installed |

@Drymonema - Haha yeah, it's like they were sort of serious on the first one and the second they were like screw it! @jwcooley - No, there really isn't. They're not connected storyline-wise at all. The first one is worth playing though :P |

Well I'm gonna go mourn the ending of Chapter 4 (that's the spoiler-free version). Will finish the game up tomorrow I assume. |

Loved the game. Some of the puzzles were not terribly intuitive, and that last one sucks, but still a ridiculous and fun game overall. |

Yay! Glad you enjoyed it, Drymonema. I don't think Phantasmagoria 1 or 2 are particularly incredible games from a point and click adventure standpoint but.... the utter ridiculous nature of them is totally worth it. :) |

I'm over half way through the first one. Decided that because they're both sort of short that it was a good idea to play through 1 and 2. Thank goodness for the hints, though. I haven't had to use them but a couple times but there have been many times that I'm like 'uh...what should I do now?'

Man, this game is terrible. While I didn't think the first one was a masterpiece, it was still fun and the stuff you had to do to make the story progress seemed more often than not intuitive. This one, however, holy crap. This game is awful. I will finish it though! |

I agree that it's not as good of a "game" as the first one, but I love this game. Perhaps it's mostly nostalgia since I wanted these games so bad before I had a PC and they were among the first games I tracked down once I had one in 1998. I actually prefer playing this one since it's barely even a game, it's really just an interactive cheesy horror movie...and I love it. |

I just wish it was more intuitive as far as what you do. I think that's the big reason that I can't get into it as much as I did the first one. I like the idea that there is MORE things/people to interact with, which is nice, though. |

One chapter down. By the end of the chapter, I was getting into it a little bit more. Let's see if chapter 2 makes it even better. |

Finished this one. Overall, I definitely liked the first one better. I think the second one, again, for me was a bit more disappointing because of the lack of direction. Story wise, it's definitely cheesy. I'm okay with cheesy. |
