Well, I just finished this one for the first time in almost 20 years! I was amazed at how much I remembered of the game.

I'm interested to see what others think about this one, specifically those that have never played it. I loved this game as a kid and I definitely have some nostalgia glasses on with it.

One of the common complaints about the game is that the main character moves too slow and she DOES move really slow....but I've never really minded it since this game is all about atmosphere. It has a strict 2 hour time-limit as well, so sit back and enjoy the ride, it doesn't last very long ;) I took my time and searched everything and although I remembered many of the puzzles, I still ended up at 1.5 hours, including the intro and credits.

I remember being so excited for D2, but I've never actually played it. I have it, but it's never even entered my Dreamcast. I need to change that.

I made it about 15 minutes in and then quit to check the manual (inventory button), and then found out about the 2 hour time limit and no saves. So some evening this week I'll block out the time :) Enjoyed the first few minutes.

You may have already noticed this, but if you hit ESC, the game exits :P I think this is only in the GOG version since the manual indicates there should be a menu that pops up. I was paranoid I might hit ESC out of habit, but luckily, I did not.

Wow I cut that close. Right at the 2 hours.

I wouldn't mind the slow moving character and cutscenes if it weren't for the time limit. But when you know you have a 2 hour limit, it's slightly agonizing cause you just want her to speed up so you can finish in time, lol.
