Fuck this game is stressful and draining. Before I hadn't even made it to the Prison Block (2nd section). But now I started over and made it through the first three sections in one sitting. I'll be damned if I don't actually beat it this time around.

Yeah, if this game is anything like Amnesia, I probably don't need to play it anytime soon. I feel the same way about that one.

Well I finally beat it. It's very well worth the stress. Fantastic game, but never lets up on its attempt to give you a heart attack.

How does it compare to Amnesia? Worse? I don't know if I can handle another game like that anytime soon.

I wouldn't immediately classify it as "scarier" than the first Amnesia.
It focuses on well-planned jumpscares more than Amnesia does though.
Where Amnesia has atmospheric dread and a heavy story, Outlast has oh-shit-run moments and, again, very well-planned jumpscares.
