GOG is having a great sale and I thought it would be a good time to hand out some keys to classic games! These are games that are lined up for a bounty in the future, so maybe this will encourage some brave warriors :)

Evolva is an interesting game in that it was released by a major publisher (at the time), but had essentially no marketing. It just sort of slipped into retail and quickly made it to the bargain bin. It received solid reviews, but was never a big hit. I've always been intrigued by it for a couple of reasons. First off, you control four characters at once, each of which can be evolved to gain different abilities that you'll need to overcome the various combat, puzzle, and platforming challenges. The other neat thing about the game is it's super colorful! It has a very unusual style to it and just in general, the game kinda does its own thing...and I like that!

A game I have never heard of until now. Sadly it comes across like it was too ambitious for the size/talent of the team that made it, but it's a really neat concept.

You'd never guess from the mockups I've contributed, but my favourite colour is actually blue. Shocker, right?

I think you're spot-on with your assessment of it being too ambitious for the team. It has some cool ideas and tries some interesting things (especially for 16 years ago), but it feels like a budget title at times. I'm surprised it received favorable reviews when it was released, but Gamespot gave it a 7.3 and IGN gave it a 7.2.

Also, you liking blue works out very well since it's my favorite color as well I'd almost call it more of an obsession, but we'll go with favorite.
