This is the only platform Mario that gives me problems. This has to be the hardest Mario game out there. I don't think I have ever got past world 2. I guess I'll give this another try.

Come to think of it, this is one of the only Mario games I havent beaten (that I've played).

That's funny, our Mario history is almost identical :P

I've never finished this one and in fact, I've never even played it. I may have played it on Super Mario All-Stars for SNES when I was a kid, but it would've been at a friend's house or something. I'm interested to hear how you do and maybe it will motivate me to at least try it!

I'm 24 minutes into playing this and can't get past level 2-3 yet. I really think the designers of this game did everything they could do to be a bunch of douchebags and troll the players as often as possible. They put traps in everywhere they could to make you fall in holes. I actually gave the screen the finger I was so mad at it LOL. I haven't done that in a while.

Oh and when playing on the Wii U to an HDTV there's a slight input lag, which only makes this game worse. I had better luck with the game playing it while watching the screen on the game pad.

It took me 40 mins to complete world 2. I can already tell world 3 is going to suck. I even ran into an area that warps you back to world 1. The choices were warp to world 1 or fall in a hole. I chose the hole.

Wow, a warp from World 3 BACK to World 1!?! That sounds awful.

@Tarzanslam - Sorry, but I have to laugh. That sounds like a nightmare!

Made it to 4-1. World 3 wasn't too bad as long as you have fireballs through most of the world.

I'm now afraid to go in any pipes since it might take me to an area that will make me warp backwards.
