Welcome to the Steam Winter Sale 2016 Giveaways! Each giveaway has a simple challenge for you to complete by posting in the corresponding thread. Upon doing so, you're automatically entered for the giveaway. Once the giveaway ends, I'll randomly select a winner from those who posted!

Like many other websites, we have giveaways here every now and then or someone will post a free key on the forums. In fact, you've probably already given away a key or gifted something to someone at some point. You should be well prepared for this one!

For this challenge, you'll need to send one of your friends a gaming-related gift! This could be a digital gift through a service like Steam or GOG or perhaps a physical gift. The Steam sale is currently running, so it's a great way to send one! After you send it, simply post here saying so. You don't have to specify what you gifted or to who, but you can if you want. We're running on the honor system here ;) You have until 11:59PM EST on 1/1/17 to post!

I gifted!

I gifted my bi-annual copy of Bad Rats the Rats' Revenge to a buddy of mine to keep the joke alive.

He's got 5 or 6 Bad Rats sitting in his inventory between Christmases and birthdays by now :D

I gifted a few games to friends and family :)

Well, I got my brother a game as a Christmas gift (Journey for PS4), but, just to be safe, I sent him a Steam gift today and made him redeem it right away, because I'm an honest sort ;)

I got my mom set up on steam and gifted her Chuzzle for Christmas.

I gifted several games this Christmas.

A friend of mine, his wife and 2 kids still play his Wii a lot, so I sent them New Super Mario Bros Wii (and apologized in advance for destroying their family).

Normally I would say "feel free to add me as a friend on Steam and I can send your gift directly, otherwise I can email it to you", but I wasn't actually able to purchase this game in advance and store it in my inventory due to its VAC security. Therefore, I will be emailing it to you directly to make sure it arrives before the end of the sale :D You can always add me as a friend though, if you like ;)
