As some of you are already aware of, over the past couple of years, I've been recording gameplay videos and uploading them to YouTube. I record purely gameplay, so no commentary, no walkthroughs, no glitches...it's just me loading up a game and trying it out. In many cases, it's the first time I've ever played the game. I've been doing this as a way to take a break from my "primary" gaming and to get some use out of the games sitting on my shelves. That being said, I've realized that I rather enjoy playing random games :P I did it the other day when the cover art for Baldies was posted here. So the purpose of this thread is to see if anyone can find a random game in my collection that they'd like me to try out. Maybe you want me to suffer by selecting something like Superman 64 or perhaps you have a legitimately fun game that's buried in my backlog. Either way, I'm down for trying out anything. I recently moved and my gaming area is actually non-existent right now, so I'm propped up in a temporary area with a limited number of consoles and therefore I have to restrict the suggestions to the following systems:

I've scoped out your channel a few times now, moho_00, and I think the random game approach seems to work well for you (and your collector habits :P). I wouldn't want to make you suffer so much as to request a horrible game, so I'd like to shift towards recommending an awesome one. My choice for you would have to be: Einhander"Einhänder is a futuristic side-scrolling shooter featuring explosive visuals, pounding techno music, and simulated 3D gameplay. Produced by RPG publisher Square, the game remains one of the best shooters of the PS1 era."If you like side scrollers of any kind really (platformer, space, bullet-hell) then I think you will have an absolute blast with this one. The game was really ahead of it's time in terms of visuals, and the music is exceptional. I personally enjoyed the replayability and the different ship options that you have to choose from. It is a bit tough, but short, so good luck! Also, it is multiplayer as well, so grab a friend while you're at it!

Einhander was an excellent choice! It's actually been on my list of games to play / record for a long time now. I've always been interested in it since at the time, I thought Squaresoft only dealt in RPGs. I went ahead and played it for the first time and recorded a video earlier today. As you'll see, I'm, umm....not very good at it haha. It definitely seems like a tough one, but still pretty cool.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Be sure to try out other ship types to get different tastes of how to use sub-weapons effectively! Scoping out your video, I wouldn't say you are absolutely terrible at all. Or at least, very close to my level of skill for the game (it's one I haven't played a lot of). It really is quite a challenge overall. It seems odd, but it definitely has a Square "feel" to it still somehow, even if it's a totally different genre than what we are used to seeing from them. I've only been able to make it to about the point you are at in this video, so I can't comment much on the strength of the narrative aspects of the game. From the way it seems, it's definitely taken a backseat in order to provide a pick-up-and-go experience. I also played this game with local multiplayer a few times growing up (the demo was provided on an old PS Underground disc from my youth) and I had an absolute blast with it. The PS1 was my favorite era of games, so I am more than willing to recommend many more!

Haha that Baldies gameplay was awesome. Looks like an odd game. Love this thread, so I'll be back with a game suggestion soon :) EDIT: Alright this looks interesting.

I tried out C-12! I picked this one up about 5 or 6 years ago on Amazon, brand new....for like $4. I hadn't even opened it yet. Despite the mediocre reviews, it seems like an okay game. It felt very much like a PS1 action game and I'm alright with that. The camera controls are backwards for me, so it will probably look a bit wonky in the video haha. But yeah, nothing special here, but seems like a decent enough game if I'm in the mood for this type of game.
