Hellooooooo 2017! As we welcome in the New Year, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some Completionator statistics for 2016. I feel this past year was a fantastic year for the site and hopefully everyone feels the site continues to improve in a variety of ways. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, so it was fun putting together these numbers. I am still very humbled that my Goals idea has come to be common place on this site, as well as included in important stats.

I wonder why Bounties have a much higher completion ratio than Missions?

Bounties are on the front page and very noticeable, missions are tucked away for the most part and easy to forget about.

Very true, I didn't consider that :P.

In any case, it's nice to see a bit of growth to the site's community as well. The number for long term site users could be exponentially higher, but at least I have noticed more interaction in the small boat of regulars that frequent the site.

I like the bounties better than the missions. I like the additional incentive of more points per completion plus the potential community involvement. Missions are great but I guess I prioritize bounties over missions.

Yeah, great year for the site. The changes actually made me shift my own personal focus from collecting to actual game playing, which is awesome. The changes to the profile page and the extension of the playthroughs section really were great. I rarely use the collection page anymore and always go to my profile page. Any stats on that change perhaps? (You have Analytics running..)
