I played the crap out of this game when I was a kid. I remember spending many snow days trying to get the gold cup in all the levels. It's probably one of the first games I completionated after getting the golds in all the cups.

Here I go again!

I just blew through 50cc all gold cups. The only thing that gives me trouble is the slides. It feels like I'm on ice every time I slide around corners. I mastered it when I was a kid. I need to get used to those slides again or I'm going to be in trouble in 150cc.

Okay, 100cc is kicking my butt. It took me an hour and 21 minutes to get golds in Mushroom, Flower and Star cups. I haven't attempted Special Cup yet. All I gotta say is SCREW YOU DONKEY KONG JR!!!

I forgot how brutal this game can be. The NPCs give no mercy.

It took me several tries but I finally got past 100 cc Special Cup and I got Gold! On to 150 cc!

I love this game! I'm looking forward to playing through it again. I use to know all the shortcuts. Hopefully I can still pull them off, some were pretty tricky.

I'm playing as my old trusty, Koopa Troopa. Just blew through the 50cc Mushroom Cup. I remember getting more coins made you go even faster so I just picked up a bunch and I started double passing racers. I'm sure that will change once I get to 100cc and 150cc.

So I now have Gold in Mushroom Cup 150 cc, Silver in Flower Cup 150 cc and Bronze in Star Cup 150 cc. Haven't tried Special yet. I really want to completionate this one with all Golds but if I have to I'll settle for core + few extras. I play as Mario so Donkey Kong Jr. is always right behind me or in 1st. I've never been so mad at a damn monkey!

I couldn't sleep last night so I figured I try and beat Super Mario Kart since my latest defeat in Bit Dungeon II was still a bit raw. I got Gold across all 50cc, 100cc and I got gold in 150cc Mushroom, and Flower. Still working on Star plus I need to do Special.

Hopefully I'll be able to got this done tonight. I was racing my son last night and I forgot how much fun it is to play with someone. I remember my siblings and I would have tournaments to see who had to do the dishes for the week. It was the main reason I figured out how to slide, because I hate doing dishes.

Just finished the game. I beat all of the cups with Gold. I didn't give myself a completion however because I didn't do any of the battle courses.

This is just a feel good, have fun title. It gets a little stressful on the 150cc level but even then I never got aggravated like I do playing Dark Souls.

First two 50cc cups took 20min each. It's fun, but not as fun as I remember. Very simple game. I played the multiplayer a lot growing up, so I won't worry about that for the completion. I plan on winning all gold trophies, and winning at least one gold with each of the 8. Used Yoshi then Toad so far.

I don't feel like I have much control on the turns. Letting off the gas helps. Jumping seems to make you slide too strongly. We'll see if my method holds up in the higher cc cups...

I've given up trying to beat a cup with each character. Some of those guys are tough to control! I'm just going for all the Golds and calling that complete enough for me!

I'm giving up on this one. I've lost my touch on this game. I was hoping to at least place in all the cups but 150cc Special Cup is killing me. I've failed this bounty! :(
