I use it to store all of the extra games I either bought and haven't touched, or to store games I probably won't play for a while. Basically, its a place where you put games that you want/need to play, but aren't exactly within your current realm of games to play, at the moment.

Generally, I use it when I have a game in my collection that I intend to play through some day, whether it'll be soon or years from now. As a result, my backlog will likely never be completed in my lifetime. :P

oh my, I tought it was intended to distinguish games whose records we need to comeplete, liker adding price, date, notes etc! but now that I searched what backlog word means I got the point!

Cant say I like the concept, psychologically exhausting looking at rather then enjoying logged games I suggest you forget about using backlogs.
