Did you buy something this time?

Did you finally manage to stop yourself from buying anything?

I'm considering buying some stuff myself but having as many great games still untouched as I have I don't think I should xD

Axiom Verge was hands down one of my favourite games of 2015. That soundtrack is so good.

I bought a couple of smaller games that I'd played before in flash form back in the day.

  • Creeper World Anniversary Edition
  • Creeper World 2 Anniversary Edition
  • SPACEPLAN

I also bought

  • Binding of Isaac Rebirth/Afterbirth/Afterbirth+

because I was sick and tired of Nicalis/Edmund McMillen being buttholes and not releasing the Afterbirth+ dlc on ps4 yet. Plus it gives me the opportunity to play the awesome fan-made Antibirth content.

I might snag a dlc or two that's on sale that I'm missing from a few games, but other than that, I've been pretty good to my wallet this sale (so far.)

I have already beaten ClusterTruck and INSIDE, and the first one was really fun but the second is just amazing, I didn't think they could ever do something I would enjoy more than I did Limbo.
Getting Isaac on PC is worth it just for Antibirth, it's one of the best expansions I've ever seen, official expansions included. Can't say the same about the Afterbirth+ DLC tho... :p

Yeah, AB+ is pretty whack, but my love for BoI dictates I have to play (or suffer?) through it to completion. :P

I bought the season pass for Rise of the Tomb Raider. I've withheld the desire to purchase much this time.

Like most Steam seasonal sales, I try and limit myself to not spending over $5 but this year I splurged and spend a whole $10. Here's the goodies I ended up with.

Half-Life
Half-Life 2
Transistor
Portal 2
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

Hopefully I'll get around to playing these before 2020.

I've noticed my the amount of time I actually spend playing games seems to coincide neatly with these sales.....

This time I picked up

Ori & The Blind Forest
Overcooked
& The Talos Principle.

I bought nothing! Well I bought Gray Matter using money I earned from selling the summer sale trading cards, but no actual money spent. What a responsible adult I have become! Don't ask me about the PSN Mid-Year Sale though because it contradicts the sentence before this one
