Finally got a round done on this after a quite a few aborted attempts. Apart from one or two extremely hectic areas with 1-2 seconds between traps or the occasional fakeout you can ace this within in under 10 tries (took me 6) if you keep a record of when the traps actually occur. There was a notebook and a lot of pausing involved, lol.

Surprised I came in at under 500 total trappings before I nailed the perfect game, that or the achievement hasn't popped for some reason. Wish it kept running totals so I could see just how close to 500 I was, I bet next time I play it pops almost immediately, lol.

Now to go back and unlock all the fun stuff for failing certain (easy) key traps and mop up achievements. Lots of special features in this game that look really interesting, and a mode where you can watch all the various cutscenes (since it's impossible to do so via the game itself without losing.)

edit: Actually, probably took me closer to 10 serious attempts. I forgot the beginning was actually a real pain to map out until I got more accustomed to it.
