Heya,

would it be possible to add the NES Classic and the Super NES Classic as platforms?

Thank you very much for the awesome site!

We actually discussed these items recently and it was decided that we would treat them as "game" entries so they could be treated as a compilation and you wouldn't need to enter all of the games individually. Plus given that they have a set number of games (officially, anyways ), they're sort of one-time shot deals in terms of libraries. Anyways, so far I've added the two variations of the SNES Classic:

I started looking into the NES Classic, so I just need to wrap back around and verify the contents and then I can load it.

Ah, awesome! Sorry, should have used the search function a bit better. That looks like a good solution!

Quick question - somewhat related to this, how are the Famicom and Super Famicom listed on the site? Do I just use the NES and SNES (respectively)?

@CountZeroOr - For best current/future functionality, you should use the NES and SNES for any JP entries associated with those platforms.

Internally, as we continue to update the database, we associate any JP release info for famicom/super famicom to them.
