I'm sure moho will give full info on this. But it's quite pricey to get SSL security. There's no sensitive data here (like financial or even much personal), so not much at risk.

Just my opinion.

@Drymonema is correct, but I do plan to add SSL at some point. It's been on my task list for a while and it's a matter of plunking down the cash and setting aside the time to set it all up. I've been considering changing servers for a while now (like more than a year haha), which is partially why I haven't bubbled this task up on my list. I figured if I switched to a new host, I would configure SSL from the beginning.

Hah, I was just about to make a topic about HTTPS on this forum. Glad I saw this post first.

Moho, are you aware of Let's Encrypt? https://letsencrypt.org/

I feel like this would be an ideal solution for the completionator as it's free and can be set up to automatically rotate the certs. I don't know how the site is set up or any of the web dev jazz but I'm a linux sysadmin by day and am naturally nutty about my security.

Also, if there's anything I can do to help, let me know. But I'd very much prefer to have the whole site secure :)
