Which Bad Game Should I Play?
Total Votes: 0

I've played my fair share of "bad" games over the years and I've written a couple of articles here on Completionator (Virtual Hydlide and Flesh Feast) to share my experiences. Well, I'm a glutton for punishment and I'm gearing up to do another one. But I thought this time I'd see if the community wants to decide what game I should play. So if you actually want to see me review one of these (highly unlikely) or if you just want me to suffer (much more likely), now is your chance!

Just in case it aids in your selection, here's my (lack of) experience with each game:

  • The Amazing Virtual Sea-Monkeys - This one is still sealed, so I've never played it. I don't even know why it's in my collection. I'm not even convinced it's real.
  • Blues Brothers 2000 - I actually recorded a video of this one a while back, but that's the only time I've played it. Fun fact: I've never seen either of the Blues Brothers movies.
  • Frogger: The Great Quest - I played this one for like 10 minutes and seem to recall it having awful controls. I gave up and tried to suppress the memory of failing so hard at a game clearly aimed at kids under 8 years old.
  • The Ring: Terror's Realm - I've never played this one, but my understanding is that it's a terrible survival horror game and among the worst games in the otherwise fantastic Dreamcast library.
  • Rock 'n Roll Adventures - I've never opened this one and that's probably a good thing. I think it's supposed to be even worse than the dreadful Ninjabread Man, which I did play...and finish.
  • Sea World: Shamu's Deep Sea Adventures - You might not believe me, but I think this is probably the "best" game on this list. I did some brief research when whittling down my list and this one barely made the cut, though the reviews vary wildly on it.

Currently, it's a tie between Blues Brothers 2000 and Sea World: Shamu's Deep Sea Adventures. So I'm just gonna pile on the pain and declare them both "winners"! I'm not sure which one I'll play first, but I'll review both of them. I'm going to start my first adventure today Thanks for voting, looking forward to this! Let's see what redeeming qualities I can sniff out on these suckers...
