On the old system we could just type in the date for the Acquisition date of a game in our collection, or select month/year with the UI-selector.
Now it doesn't let one type anymore, and there doesn't seem to be a way to zoom out the selector up to decades. So if a game was acquired in May 2013 one would need to click the arrow 67 times to get to the right month, a game acquired in the 90s would require at least 229 clicks.

So can we please get the typing back, or at least a selector where we can select the right month and year directly perhaps via a dropdown menu?

The datepicker we're using provides an option for select-able months / years, so it's something I can change. I initially left them off all of the datepickers since I wasn't a big fan of how they looked, but I could see where it would be useful if you're back-filling data here. I'll put it on my list and it should go out with the next release.
