I believe this is an actual bug and isn't just happening to me but I could be wrong... |

Also a separate bug I just found: When on another user's page, clicking "My profile" in the top right corner of the site seems to reload that user's page, and not load your own page. |

Last time I edited a comment in one of my posts was about a week ago without issue. Let's see if I can replicate your error... and nope, not getting an error screen. Sounds like it could be something specific to you. Does the error persist after reloading your browser or anything like that? Second bug is definitely a bug though!

I think the post edit bug has something to do with the location of the post in a thread. Do you know which thread / post you were editing when you ran into the error? Agreed, the second one is a bug and will be fixed in the next release. |

I actually had it happen on the Add Game forum. Every time I'd edit my comment on there for the stuff I recently asked to be added (the edit was to remove each time I added a game to the inventory), it would throw an error for me as well.

I think what's happening is over time posts are removed, primarily due to account deletion requests (but also a little bit of spam). That ultimately leaves gaps in post numbers (it's very noticeable on the Add Game thread that @jwcooley mentioned) and the site wasn't accounting for that when it tried to send you to the correct page after editing a post. I've changed the logic up a bit so the gaps no longer matter for the purposes of post-edit redirection. I also fixed the My Profile bug. Both of these will go out with the release later this weekend! |
